✍️ New Release of Highlighting & Notes
We’re excited to announce our improved annotate features. You’ll find an improved highlighting experience and the ability to take notes on iOS and Android. 🥳 Now you can capture insights on the go.
We’ve been working hard on this release, and hope you enjoy these improvements.
Improved Highlighting Experience
We’ve simplified highlighting as a first step towards an exciting new feature: adding tags to your highlights and notes. 🏷️ Once released, tags will be a more flexible and customizable way to organise the insights you collect.
📜 If you used custom highlighter labels on web in the past, don’t worry, we’ve stored your original labels and you can continue to use them. We’ll automatically convert them to tags once we release this feature.
Notes Upgrade
✍️ We’ve taken note taking up a notch by making them inline and contextual. 💪🏻
🧘♀️ Why? Notes are most effective when they’re brief, focused and kept together. By making notes directly on your resource you’ll make sense of the content as you go, keeping your note taking focused and organised, and capturing your critical thoughts alongside the insights.
📝 You can either leave a note on a specific highlight, or make a note on the overall resource at the top of the page.
📜 If you’ve made notes on web in the past, never fear, they’ll still be available to you. We've converted them into resources in your Mindstone account. You can also download them in markup.
